Kam Yau fell in love with photography since he was in high school. Photography was expensive so he used a 35mm film SLR borrowed from his brother at that time. You had to buy the film and pay for the process fee before you can see the photos. That is why he still has the "Think before you click" routine. Kam Yau did not study in art and he went in to engineering instead. But he never gave up his passion in photography.
Kam Yau kept on advancing his photography path through learning from tutorials and workshops. After being a wedding photographer for his friends. He could not resist the joy and happiness that a wedding day can brings to everybody. He loved to enhance the wedding fantasy to couples who love photography. He decided to take his photography journey to next level. He started as full time wedding photographer base in Toronto in 2010.
Equipment that I use
To ensure the quality of the photo images. I only use PROFESSIONAL grade camera bodies and lens. My primary camera body is Canon EOS 5D Mark III. It has full frame image sensor. In case you do not know what is that mean. Sensor size is 35mm x 24mm that is same size as the good old day 135mm film. Most of the time I will using Canon EF 24-70 F2.8 L lens for the general shooting. Canon EF 17-40 F4 L for the creative and wide group shot. Canon EF 200 F2.8 L prime lens for the portrait and distance shot. I do believe Lighting is the most critical part of photography. Usually natural light will not be available especially during ceremony and reception. I use 3 to 4 flashes to create spectacular lighting to the scene.
I do like travel. Pitch me an offer if you like to have a destiny wedding. My service can be FREE !!!!!!
